Hashtag Board Co seeks a talented Product Manager to help lead our emerging platforms product initiatives. The ideal candidate should be familiar with how to manage product development from conception to launch stage.

Job Responsibilities

• Stay abreast of ever changing technology landscape, including mobile web & native applications, VR & other video tech, social media tools, smart devices, etc.

• Identify innovation opportunities in our existing products and overcome any obstacles to delivering

• Facilitate creative team in finding interactive, tech based to solutions for new editorial projects

• Work with sales & marketing teams to ideate around technology concepts for campaigns

• Track key performance indicators for all R&D products & provide concise summary on the performance of each

• Communicate and align strategy with key stakeholders, must have strong ability to translate raw ideas into functional products

• Write business cases, product requirements and business rules for new and existing products and services and detail how each platform which will utilize them

• Manage R&D product backlog & weekly sprints

• Engage with the development team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable schedule for delivery

• Communicate product releases and implementation plans to all key stakeholders

• Iterate existing products through data driven processes like multivariate & A/B split testing

• Evaluate & manage relationships with 3rd party vendors

Qualifications

• College graduate; Business or Engineering background preferred

• 3-5 years of Product Management experience with consumer-facing content site or social network

• Working knowledge of web technologies with skills to design/code basic prototypes

• Experience leading new product development from conception to launch

• Comfort in Agile/Scrum development process

• Creative problem Solver with strong analytical skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Familiarity with mobile and/or social software products and technologies

• Can do attitude and self-starter

• Love for technology with a punk rock mentality ready to challenge the status quo
