Hashtag Board Co's art department is seeking a manager to oversee the workflow of design projects within the company. The ideal candidate would be an organizational and operational master, capable of synthesizing a variety of design requests from editorial, video, product, and sales into a clear system with deliverables and deadlines. A background in graphic design, and an ability to get hands-on with design projects when needed, is a plus. This is a full-time position in the New York office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of designers and oversee their workflow

• Manage the workflow of Creative Director and Art Director

• Maintain and improve internal project management systems

• Foster interdepartmental communication and collaboration

• Collaborate with Creative Director, Art Director, and Photo Director to develop a clear system and strategy for the art department

Requirements

• Minimum three years of management experience

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines

• A working knowledge of the Adobe CS Suite

• Familiarity with Hashlife's world of pop culture, including hip-hop, entertainment, sneakers, and style
