Hashtag Board Co editorial department is seeking an experienced editor to work closely with management and our editorial teams to oversee the development of our websites and brands. The ideal candidate would have a background in editing, writing, social media, and website strategy, and be ready to combine their experience in all areas as a director who oversees the development of multiple brands within our family of owned and operated websites. This is a full-time position in the New York office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for our websites

• Oversee the editorial execution of brand strategies

• Manage a team of editors

• Represent the brands’ interests externally in the development of partnerships

• Represent the editorial team’s interests internally in communications with the product, video, audience development, and branded content departments

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of online editorial and media experience

• Minimum 3 years of management experience

• Deep knowledge of and enthusiasm for pop culture and internet culture

• A firm grasp of Google Analytics, SEO, and social media strategy
